Why there is no phone number on this site
A number in this header would ring a marketing company. Whoever picked it up could not tell you what your roof costs or when someone could look at it. Publishing one would mostly generate calls we cannot resolve. If that changes, the number will appear here and it will be answered by a person who can say who they work for.
What we can help with
- A number on this site that looks wrong. If you have a real Charlotte estimate that contradicts what we publish, send it. Corrections with evidence attached get made, and the page gets a new review date.
- Where a figure came from. Every cost on the site is traceable. If the methodology page does not answer it, ask.
- Removing your information. Send the address you entered and the words "do not contact". We delete it on our side and tell the contractor to stop. The Do Not Sell or Share My Info page handles the formal version of that request.
- A contractor who behaved badly. This is the message we most want to receive. Pressure tactics, a no show, a deductible offer, contact after you asked them to stop. We are the reason they got your name, and a vendor who does that stops being a vendor.
- Nobody contacted you. If a full business day has passed since you submitted and no one has reached out, tell us and we will find out why.

What we cannot help with, and where to go instead
We cannot send anyone to your house
There are no crews here to dispatch and no schedule to put you on. If you want someone to look at the roof, the estimator passes your request to Eastern Oak Roofing LLC in Matthews, NC, or you can call any Charlotte roofing company directly. Either route works. We do not schedule, dispatch, or supervise roofing work of any kind.
We cannot quote your job
Nothing we publish is a bid, and no one here is qualified to price your roof. The ranges on this site come from published market data and a spreadsheet that has never seen your house. Pitch, decking, layers, access, flashing details, and material choice decide the real number, and someone has to be on the roof to know. Only a contractor can give you a price you can hold them to.
We cannot help with an active insurance claim
This is the most common message we have to turn away, so here is the honest routing.
- Start with your carrier. Your policy and your insurer decide what is covered, what your deductible is, and how depreciation is recovered. The claims number on your policy is the first call, and it should come before you sign anything with a contractor.
- A licensed public adjuster can represent you on a claim. They are licensed by the state and they work for you, not the insurer. In North Carolina, licensing is handled by the North Carolina Department of Insurance. In South Carolina, the South Carolina Department of Insurance.
- A complaint about how a claim was handled goes to the same two departments. They take consumer complaints directly.
- A contractor offering to make your deductible go away should be reported to your carrier and to the state insurance department. Here is why that offer is a crime in both Carolinas.

If water is coming into the house right now, do not wait on an email. Get buckets under it, move what you can, photograph everything for later, and call a roofing company directly for an emergency tarp. If the damage is structural or there is any question about the electrical, that is a call to 911 or to your utility rather than to a website.

Nothing on this site is legal advice or insurance advice. Contract disputes with a contractor go to an attorney, to the Better Business Bureau, or to the North Carolina Attorney General consumer protection division.
