These terms are a legal agreement between you and Charlotte Roofing Quote covering your use of charlotteroofingquote.com. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1. Who operates this site, and what it is

This site does not publish a telephone number. Email is the contact channel for every privacy, legal, and opt out request, and a person reads that mailbox.

Charlotte Roofing Quote publishes roofing cost research for the Charlotte metro and operates an advertising and lead referral service. It is not a roofing contractor, a home improvement contractor, a public adjuster, an insurance producer, or a law firm. It holds no general contractor license and no residential specialty contractor registration in North Carolina or in South Carolina, and it does not need one, because it never bids, prices, supervises, schedules, or performs construction work.

2. No contractor relationship is created here

Reading this site, using the estimate tool, or submitting the form does not create a contractor and customer relationship between you and Charlotte Roofing Quote, and it does not create one between you and any roofing company. A contractor relationship begins only when you and a contractor sign a contract with each other. Charlotte Roofing Quote is not a party to that contract, is not a guarantor of it, and has no authority to sign anything on your behalf or on any contractor's behalf.

3. How the service actually works

1. You answer questions about your property and see an educational cost range built from published market data.
2. If you choose to, you submit the form with your contact details.
3. We transmit that submission to one independent roofing contractor, currently Eastern Oak Roofing LLC of Matthews, NC.
4. That contractor contacts you directly, inspects the roof if you want it inspected, and gives you its own written estimate.
5. Any agreement for roofing work is strictly between you and that contractor.

You are under no obligation at any step. You may decline the inspection, decline the estimate, and hire anybody you like, including a contractor you found on your own.

4. Cost figures on this site are educational, and they are not quotes

Submitting this form requests contact from an independent roofing contractor. It is not a contract, a bid, or a binding estimate. Any price shown on this site is an educational estimate produced from published market data, not a quote.

Real conditions change the number: rotted decking nobody can see until the old roof comes off, pitch, access, layers, code upgrades, permit fees, and material availability. Expect your actual estimate to differ from anything shown here.

5. How we are paid

We are paid an advertising fee by the roofing contractor we refer you to. You pay us nothing. That fee does not change your price and does not depend on what you spend.

Advertising disclosure. Charlotte Roofing Quote is paid by the roofing contractor named on this site when we refer a homeowner to it. This is a paid advertising and referral service. It is not an independent review, ranking, or comparison of every roofing contractor in this area. Any contractor shown here appears because that contractor pays for the referral and met the standards we publish, and you should read it that way.

6. We make no warranty about any contractor or any roofing work

Charlotte Roofing Quote does not perform, supervise, direct, price, schedule, inspect, or warrant any roofing work. We make no representation and give no guarantee about:

• the price a contractor quotes you or the price you finally pay,
• the quality, timeliness, or safety of the work,
• the materials used or how long they last,
• any workmanship warranty or manufacturer warranty, which is offered by the contractor or the manufacturer and not by us,
• a contractor's licensing, registration, bonding, or insurance status on any future date, including the day work begins,
• the outcome of any insurance claim,
• the resolution of any dispute between you and a contractor.

Every statement about a contractor's credentials, price, warranty, licensing, or insurance is made by that contractor, not by us. If a contractor tells you something and it turns out to be false, your claim is against that contractor.

7. Nothing here is insurance advice

We are not a public adjuster, an insurance agent, or a law firm, and we do not represent homeowners on insurance claims. Nothing on this page is insurance advice. Your policy and your insurer decide what is covered.

Charlotte Roofing Quote is not licensed as a public adjuster in North Carolina or South Carolina and does not act as one. We do not evaluate, file, present, adjust, negotiate, or settle insurance claims for anyone, and we do not advise you on your coverage, your deductible, or your policy language. Those questions belong to your insurance carrier, a licensed public adjuster, or an attorney.

8. Your duty to verify the contractor yourself

You are responsible for checking a contractor's credentials before you sign anything. Do not take our word for it and do not take theirs. Ask for the license or registration number, the certificate of general liability insurance, and the workers compensation certificate, then verify them at the source:

Also read the contract before signing, including any cancellation rights, and keep a signed copy.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The site and everything on it are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Charlotte Roofing Quote disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful components, or that any cost figure, source, or third party statement reproduced here is accurate, complete, or current. Cost research is re-checked periodically and the review date is printed on the page. Between reviews, the market moves.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Charlotte Roofing Quote and its members, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, property damage, personal injury, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of the site, any referral, or any dealings with any contractor, whether the claim is based in contract, tort, warranty, statute, or anything else, and even if we were told such damages were possible.

Cap. Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims relating to the site or a referral will not exceed one hundred United States dollars ($100.00). You pay nothing to use this site, so this cap reflects the actual value exchanged between us.

Some states do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. Where that is the case, the exclusions and limitations above apply only to the extent that state law allows, and nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Charlotte Roofing Quote and its members, officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, fine, penalty, cost, or expense, including reasonable attorney fees, arising out of your use of the site, your breach of these terms, information you submitted that was false or that you were not authorized to submit, including a telephone number that is not yours, or any dispute between you and a contractor.

12. Accuracy of what you submit, including the telephone number

You represent and warrant that everything you submit is true, accurate, and current, and that you are at least 18 years old and are the owner of the property or are authorized to request work on it.

13. Electronic records and electronic signature

You consent to do business with us electronically and to receive disclosures, notices, agreements, and records electronically. Under the federal E-SIGN Act and comparable state law, you agree that ticking a checkbox, clicking a submit button, or typing your name on this site is your electronic signature, is legally equivalent to a handwritten signature, and shows your intent to sign and be bound. You agree that our records of your submission, including the wording displayed to you, the checkbox states, the timestamp, the IP address, and the browser used, are admissible evidence of that agreement. You may request a paper copy of anything you signed electronically by emailing hello@charlotteroofingquote.com. To do business with us electronically you need a device with a modern browser, internet access, and a working email address.

14. Consent to be contacted

The form shows you two separate checkboxes. Neither is ticked for you, and the form submits without the second one. This is what they say.

Required, so we know where to send the request:
I agree to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, and I understand my information will be sent to Eastern Oak Roofing LLC, an independent roofing contractor, so they can contact me about my roof.

Optional, and never required to get an estimate or to hire anyone:
Optional. I give my express written consent for Eastern Oak Roofing LLC to contact me at the phone number I provided using an automatic telephone dialing system, an artificial or prerecorded voice, and text messages, even if that number is on a state or national Do Not Call list. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See SMS Terms.

Consent is not a condition of any purchase. You may revoke consent at any reasonable time and by any reasonable method, including replying STOP to a text, telling a caller to stop calling, or emailing hello@charlotteroofingquote.com. Revocation is honored within ten business days at the latest. Calls and texts are made only between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. local time at your location.

15. Things you may not do here

• Submit false, stolen, or unauthorized information, including someone else's telephone number, email address, or property address.
• Submit a form on behalf of someone who did not ask you to.
• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk download the site or its cost data by automated means for commercial use. Ordinary search engine and AI assistant crawling is welcome, and robots.txt says so.
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to submit forms.
• Interfere with the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, or attempt to gain unauthorized access.
• Use anything from this site to send unsolicited marketing.
• Republish the cost tables or guides as your own work. Quoting a figure with a link back is fine and encouraged.
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any advertising, telemarketing, contractor licensing, or insurance statute.

16. Intellectual property

The text, cost research, tables, methodology, layout, code, and design of this site are owned by Charlotte Roofing Quote and protected by copyright and other laws. You may read, print, and share pages for your own personal, non commercial use, and you may quote a limited excerpt with attribution and a link. Everything else needs written permission. Third party names, logos, and trademarks, including manufacturer and contractor names, belong to their owners and appear here for identification only, and their appearance does not imply that the owner endorses this site.

17. Governing law, venue, and disputes

These terms and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You and Charlotte Roofing Quote agree that the exclusive venue for any action is the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Nothing in this paragraph prevents either of us from bringing a claim in small claims court, and nothing in it limits any right you have under North Carolina or South Carolina consumer protection law.

Before filing anything, please email hello@charlotteroofingquote.com and describe the problem. Most issues are fixed in a day.

18. Severability, assignment, entire agreement, and changes

If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, that provision is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and everything else stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms. We may assign them to a successor in a merger or sale of the business. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the SMS Terms, are the entire agreement between you and Charlotte Roofing Quote about the site and replace any earlier version. We may change these terms, and the effective date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after that date means you accept the change.
